As for the willful disregard to the lives and welbeing of the crew I....can't say I'm surprised at all. Under your and your fellow pilots command, they are nothing but slaves.

I understand the viewpoint that hesitation will mean death in combat situations so a detached relationship (if you can call it that) is probably the best thing for a pure combat pilot's career.
Most of my crew have no family and those that do speak very little of them. Perhaps the pain of remembrance is too great.
I think this thread has derailed quite a bit though.

I totally agree to this viewpoint. Perhaps influencing the crew members on Amarrian ships to overthrow their tyrannical and despotic leaders would influence the Amarr Empire to change it's ways. Or be choked on the debris from missile bombardment.
